Research Center

  National Engineering Research Center for Potato, the only one in China ,was approved by Ministry of Science and Technology in November 2007.It was affiliated to Laoling  Xisen Potato Industry Group Co. Ltd. And will fully use the national and international biological and agricultural high-technologies and the role of professional researchers to solve the key issues in potato production and to improve the potato industry in China.

  The researches will be focusing on the critical ,fundamental ,and common technical problems in potato industry in China ,including new potato varieties for specific purposes and their ICMs ,virus-free seed potato multiplication technologies and extension of high quality seed potatoes , new potato products and their processing technologies ,and potato storage technologies. The center will optimize and integrate the technologies, formulate the technological standards, and to continuously provide the new varieties, new technologies, and new products for sustainable and efficient development of potato industry in China.
